You're a lost little girl with nowhere to turn.
No family to run to, you're britches are burned.
You were once on top, now you're on your way down.
You're falling so fast, all you see is the ground.

You've got family and friends and your life it depends
on the relationships you've built, to last till the ends,
of time, but some end too soon and soon you will know,
the bottom is hard when you've no place to go.

Just look to the horizon, when you reach the ground level.
The ocean she's rising, she'll wash away the devil.
And from the tide will emerge, the hero you deserve.
To lift you back up, to the place you once were.

His hand is stretched out, with an option, an offer,
and its your's to take, to fill up your coffer,
with love and trust and a friendship to bind
two people, two souls, of a like mind.

You've got to hit rock bottom, to appreciate life,
to know what you're missing, to know what its like,
to take a helping hand, to see you through the end.
And what do you come out with? A soulmate, a friend.
