What's normal to her, may not be normal to you.
Deepen sores
Engraved in my skin
Scars don't fade
All over
Feel the pain
Feel the adreneline
Pierce the skin again
Glistening in the dim light
I can breathe again
Pierce again
Again
Again
Steady breathing returns
Pain fades
Soaked skin
Tarnished soul
Normalcy is seen
But blinded in the dark
To see my damaged self
