Poem about relationships - with others as well as yourself
I was fine without you.
I know I'll be okay without you.
I'm still breathing with or without you.
This pain'll end somewhere without you.

It was not even like I loved you.
But your kisses stopped this hollow rain from falling through me.
your touch dispered the nothing all around.
Only if briefly,
for one moment, when you murmered in my ear.
I could make you happy for that instant.
I could make you smile.

I was fine without you.
I know I'll be okay without you.
I'm still breathing with or without you.
But there's this pain inside

These currents running through my body.
This silent scream echoes through my bones.
Like a cut that won't stop bleeding,
with you, at least, I could halt the flow.
If only for one hour, if only for one moment.
Your touch would make it better,
Massage the problems kept inside.
How can something ache of nothing?
How can Nothing stop the pain?

You were my quick fix answer
My drug of choice on Friday nights.
But like the pils through out my system,
The Saturday lowes become too high in price.

When you're broken deep inside,
One kiss, one smile, one moment
won't clear away the pain forever.

I was fine without you.
I will be fine without you.
I'll keep on breathing without you.

Coz I know I'll fix what's broken
and I don't need your type of high
