"I never really go anywhere i just pass through from time to time" - ani
Driven by loneliness
In the cock pit
On the run way
Traveling through
hotels
time zones
So quickly
I'll be gone tomorrow
Here today
It was nice to know you
See ya around
Next time i come back this way

And it all came out faster
When the sun pulled the plug
Waters rush to the drain disaster
Left a dry empty bathtub
But now that I’m home
I’ve settled in alone
Together
With the people I love

And the echo of the water still lingers
I am reminded of my guitar fingers
Softening
Like me
Softening
To the beat
Of foot steps on the street
The sun’s baking heat
Softening
Touches
Stares
When lonely lips meet
Excitement trying to outweigh jet lag
But I think shes got the best of me
Softening
The rest of me

This is my self weaknesses
This is my defeat
This is me crumbling down
I am softening
Concrete
And you’ve left your foot prints in me.
