A poem written to my wife about how I feel about her.
Only one in a million, once in a lifetime

How many ladies could hold a candle to you?
Maybe one since the world was created would do.

How many hearts could be so close to mine?
Only one besides yours, and that heart is divine.

How many women make me take a second look?
None, my darling, for you it’s all that it took.

You are my love,
My light,
My all

And
It
Is
With you, in love that I fall.
Even in days, which call themselves nights
Even through pains, frustrations and fights.
You are my anchor when the storms seem to roll
When heartache, pain, and suffering, all have taken their toll
You heal me and comfort, and sometimes control
But always will I love thee,
Yes always I say.

Your pleasure or pain,
Makes it night or day,
No matter what other people may say.

Days are so
Because you make the sun glow
When your happiness is lighting the sky

Your sadness makes dark,
That puts out the spark
That shines in the skies of my soul.

You are my sweetheart,
My darling,
My mate.
A woman whom for whom I can never feel hate

Our love is divine
It came from above
God gave me you
One wife to cherish, and
always to love.
