You don't have to look or touch to see and feel. Emotions are full of senses.
It was nowhere…
And there she was, alone and afraid, torn apart,
Too lost in her own aching heart, not strong.
With fear in her eye,
And prayers to the sky,
Asking for a place to belong.
It was nowhere…
And there he was, not real, not shown,
Only his words known, nothing more.
A stranger friend,
Who helped her mend,
Who carried her to the shore.
It was somewhere…nowhere she’d been before.

It was somewhere…
And there he was, his thoughts in her mind,
A stranger, caring and kind, across the miles.
She was not alone
And bright the sun shone,
To fill her heart with his smile.
It was somewhere…
And there she was, thankful and alive again,
Only anxious to begin, nothing more,
With a stranger friend on the shore.
It was somewhere, nowhere she’d been before.
