when saying goodbye to an old love, it doesnt seem to take the memories along with it.
At this moment in time
all you are is a fading memory.
All that we had or could've been
is blurring in my mind.
It seems so long ago I knew you
and I meant some importance in your life.
I wonder, will I ever again?
Will fates twists throw our paths across each
others?
I feel we met when you needed me.
And I needed too.
This is how I understand our brief time together.
How I make sense of the no sense we once were.
So many time I am as I am now,
thinking of you,
wondering of you,
of what we could've been to each other.
Slowly, I forget to look out for your car.
I forget to watch for you,
sat, in the places we once used to go.
I forget winter and summer with you,
as lives move forward, as yours has
now mine is moving too.
So, not so much goodbye,
but more a blurring
of your memory,
your picture,
the hopes once felt
for what we could've had.
