I love myself like a disease.
Disease

I love myself like a disease
Losing tact with society
Loves come and go just as they please
With constant disregard of me

I love myself like a disease
Result of passionate cruelty
When overrun by sorrow’s fleas
The girl in the mirror glared at me

I love myself like a disease
But suicide holds less appeal
These drops of tears morphed into seas
Numbed by cold, so unable to feel

I love myself like a disease
Losing tact with society
I’d come with you if you just said please
And if you promise not to cure me.
