Poetry describing a turbulent relationship
Will you stay tomorrow?
Will I leave next week?
Will you drown in sorrow?
Will I break down and weep?
If I left this precious earth,
Would anyone really care?
If this was our last kiss,
How much would you share?
It's one day at a time, that's the way I live.
One kiss for another, this is how I give.
All of the universe, but one piece at a time.
One life for another, here, I'll gladly give mine
One sweet symphony, note by single note
One sweet dream, a tiny shred of hope
The scent of a single rose, carried on a summer breeze
One taste of love, is equal to all these things
A wisp of breath across my cheek
Kiss my lips, my knees go weak
Hold me close, feel the heat?
Taste my soul, softly sweet
Why doesn't this feel like reality?
Is it fact or is it fiction?
Are you sure without conviction?
That our lives are not just lies?
That we're not just made up alibis?
