Hidden pain from forgotten sorrows
The heart holds in its embrace
Pain undefined by the face.

Sorrows whose origins were forgotten long ago
Tears held captive so no one will know.

Such a fragile veneer, a superficial shrine
Betrays the soul and haunts the mind.

What was once a garden full of life and bloom,
Is now for the heart a self made tomb.

Captured by fear, chained by doubt.
Only Love can set you free and lead you out.
