This poem is about the feelings of a woman when she realizes the loss of her love.
It's cold, it's dark
there is no one around
The quietness is chilling
I am afraid!

I try to call out
but no one hears me
My eyes shed tears uncontrolably
I am alone!

I see him standing there
angry, disappointed, anoyed
I look at him in front of me
he seems so far away

His love, is not love at all
all he feels is hate and anger
He has lost the love
from all that have loved him before

He knows only what he was taught
not love, not hope, not compassion
He tries to be different, but fails
he knows only hate, anger, and convenience

There once was faith in my heart
it is gone, shattered, broken away
It now only knows the undeniable
hurt, deception, betrayal

It is weak, worn, and lost of hope
tired of the fight for what it longs
Dead of breath and the blood that pumps it
confused, lost, cold, full of hate

Lost to never be found, not wanting to be
ready to rest, to be left alone
Although not knowing where it would go
to the beautiful heavens...or straight to hell!!!
