This poem is for those who can relate.
I'ts so easy to forget
isn't it
All the good things you have
Instead you focus
solely on the bad
And it stays in your thoughts
leaving you to think
about things
that aren't healthy to do
they twist and they turn
inside your mind
over and over again
Never resting
Never sleeping
Forever feeding you
bad thoughts to think
of doing things
to hurt you
and anyone in your path
You start to forget
about the good things
that have happened to you
You forget that
You were ever happy
You start to think
that all you know is hurt
and pain
you start to think
that all you see is black
blurred by all the tears
constantly pouring from
your puffy, bloodshot eyes
As times goes by
and the thoughts come in
You forget how to laugh
You forget how to smile
You forget about the ones
you have loved
The ones who are now lost
to you forever
Your desolation pushed them away
Your silence pushed them away
and now all that you have left
are the thoughts
that messed your head up
The thoughts that
never leave
and never will until
your are finally dead
