For I2's poetry contest.
I wrote this for "Invalid Item

Do you see the faces ~
Compiled just below?
Lose one single facet ~
The image isn’t whole.

It’s kind of like this world ~
So many, it does take ~
To make the world go ‘round,
Foundations not to shake.

It takes all God’s children;
Boys, girls, young, and old ~
Red, yellow, black, and white
To get the story told.

We are all God’s children ~
Regardless of our skin.
We are all related ~
So you’re my next of kin.

You may be my neighbor,
Or a long lost friend.
You may be my brother,
Or just an ear that lends.

My life wouldn’t be complete ~
Without each one of you.
I thank God for blessings,
And beauty that shines through.

As for these three faces ~
Shown here in this prompt,
It serves as a reminder ~
It DOES take all of us.
