a poem about betrayal.
i met a girl in a faraway place
with midnight hair and an angel's face
she begged me to let her smoke my heart
i told her it would tear me apart
but a love for her tore me inside
and against good thinking i complied
please no more than one drag i pleaded
she swore that one was all she needed
she told me not to be afraid
and pierced my heart with a burning blade
an unimaginable pain near choked me
as she put her lips to mine and smoked me
i was sure it was over but she persisted
and digging the blade deeper she twisted
again she breathed me in with pleasure
as i suffered beyond comparable measure
beside pieces of my broken heart
her broken promise fell apart
