When life gets overwhelming and you want to get away from it all. Eight syllable lines.
I must escape, I must get out
All that's around, heightens my doubt
Remaining truths, that people hold
Dwindling fast, never get told
In a world wet, flooded with lies
With hate disdain, what if I die
Suicide thoughts, percolating
Oozing about, contemplating
Meaning to life, why am I here
What should I do, curious fear
Empty answers, misdirection
Don't want to know, apprehension
Happy suffer, sorrow proclaim
Overjoying, brings about shame
Greed's origin, in coveting
Destination, self-destructing.
