it could happen to you, and I'm sorry if it does.
Never again will I knock lightly at deaths door.
Knock...Knock...
Hoping death will hear me,
Hoping death will not.
I now tap on deaths door,
wanting him to come,
but praying to God he only thinks its the rain.
Tap...tap...tap...
I hear feet walking inside the house,
I see lights turn on inside,
and I run away.
But death already opened the door,
already reached out and grabbed my sleeve,
already started hauling me inside.
I scream for him to stop,
I scream that it was all a mistake,
I didn't want to die!
Death smiled sadly,
and shook his head.
