Just another dark moment in my life, when I feel like giving up, God always lifts me up.
Oh how I love the sound of the rain,
While I lay here feasting on my pain.
There's really nothing for me to gain,
Except another moment of the pain.
Tomorrow is another day,
In a bed, here to stay.
If I'm lucky, I will sleep
and dream a dream, my soul to keep.
Will it thunder, will it rain,
Will I feast again on pain,
Or will I dream that forever dream,
God please let me, I don't want to scream.
Oh how I love the sound of the rain,
The thunder, the wind howling it's refrain.
It's Gods way of showing great dismay,
For feasts of sorrow, for feasts of pain,
His tears fall down as cleansing rain,
To wash away, and refresh,
The stain of sorrow, the pain of death.
