just random thoughts that sort of turned into a poem.
The thick plume of smoke smothers me
like a cloud smothers the sun.
I cough and splutter yet it goes unnoticed.
I'm choking. I feel it inside me
spreading throughout my body.
oh, the irony to die at another's stupidity
