it's a harsh world after all...
It is in shallow graves that we place our hopes.
And with a dead eye of the world,
we see it dwindle
to nothing,
to a decaying memory.

Too long we have been absent of passion
where is the fire?
where is the faith?
Is it nothing more than a fairytale to tell our children?
wake up
from the gray fog of tomorrow
and take heed
of the dullness in your heart.
tell the young of righteousness,
tell them of ancient love,
rekindle the life that was lost
for we are nothing more than a rolling wave on the beach,
and they are the newborn sun.
