Exorcism from a different point of view.
You deny me.
You denounce me.
You exorcise me.
Your circle is all around me.
Your words make a spell to dispel.

Inwardly I smile.
I am not afraid.
You do not know me.
I am many hundred years old, in the guise of a four-year-old child.
I have lived before.
I have killed before.
I know you.

You have been called from outside.
You do not know me.
I plead with your eye.
I beg for your compassion.
I reach out with my four-year-old arms.
I squeeze out a tear and cry for mercy.
Cry for you to love me and comfort me.
Inwardly I smile.

I can see your eyes widen.
I can feel your resistance weaken.
Your spell is complete.
My deed is yet to be.
You cannot let go of my eyes.
You are trapped by my eyes.
You step into the circle,
Reaching out with your arms.

You are hit by the power of your spell.
You writhe.
You scream.
You die.

Inwardly I smile.
