New Year = A hopefully new better life.
It’s a New Year,
Time to look past the mirror,
Time to not reflect on the past,
But time to continue life as if climbing a mast.

If your life felt down in the dumps,
Now’s the time to make your life feel pumped,
A new year means a new start,
From your past life, you depart.

So party all night long,
This night nothing can go wrong,
It’s your life with a new beginning,
Life for you may now have a new meaning
