A piece I wrote for a prompt a title contest.
Many Years have passed since I met you.
Many long hours waiting for you to call.
Will I have to wait forever?
No please stop.

It was always me running after you,
searching for you in your local bars.
Waiting endlessly for a notion.
But no please stop; I can't go on.

Always there if you needed me,
didn't want anything in return.
Remembered every birthday and kept you
company when you were down.
But no please stop; I've had enough.

I repeat it over and over, but then always
give in at your call.
You know I love you and cherish you, and
run at your beck and call.
But now please stop; let me go.
