Another one to my Gal...
I Long to Hold the Sunrise

Oh tell me how my heart can be,
So locked in loving trance?
When often left here feasting,
On sights of happenstance

My Dear it's so much more than love,
The endless bounty of my heart
It was you that lit the fire,
And gave a lonely life new start

I long to hold the sunrise,
In these loving arms this day
And grasp the sunbeams slicing through,
Billowy clouds of silver gray

But the sunrise hasn't shown herself,
For these loving eyes to see
I'm not sure where she's hiding,
Wish her light would shine for me

Ladylove don't play me as,
A simple pawn of pleasure
Look at what you've got here,
My love that's without measure
