Solving a mystery always packs a one-two punch.

What lies behind door number one?
Here we have a site with a hundred million stories.
People of all types wander this place
to blog, cry, insult and dance.

I see him moping in the back.
I know him so well, but
what's he hiding from me?

Someone left a note...
an interest...
a sign.
Is this what I think it is?

He says no.

I carry on, and so does he.
But soon he vanishes.
Why now would he do such a thing
in what seems like a desperate time of need?

I want to be there for him,
to support him
like he did for me a long time ago.
Why won't he talk to me?

A conversation with an old friend
gives me my next clue.
A rumor. Could it be?
I sure as hell hope not.

Gotta love e-mail!
The perfect addiction, and secretive, too.
Pull up his address and scribe a letter to him.
I hit the send button hoping it won't be my end.

Then it arrives. The letter.

My suspicions are confirmed.
Score one for intuition.
My gift, my curse
helped me solve that mystery.

For now it's a curse,
as I question my actions.
What can I do for him
in spite of my conflicting beliefs?

I know I'm not the only one with that
question looming in my head.
Click-cla-
I'll wait to find out his thoughts.

Click-click on it.
Time to go back to the homepage.
Ah! My beige colored home!
Love it for what it is.*Heart*

Read a little write a little...
in between chat.
Lots of friendships form, but sometimes...
more.

More?

Ah, yes.
Love is in the air.
Distance, turbulence
yet sometimes it works out.

But oftentimes secrecy
comes into play.
What lurks behind the name
and the comments they leave?

Hint 1. Location.
Some people say it.
Name a region, any region!
I'll keep my eyes peeled.

You pique my curiosity,
and I'm on the lookout.

Time goes by; now I'm in love.
I've almost forgotten.
Out of the blue!
Hint 2. Color.

Well THAT narrows it down!

Touchpad mouse and drop down columns
help me commence my dig.
Then suddenly from the (change the color!)
a figure appears.

I prepare to observe, and then...
a message.
Did I get a false hint?
No, I didn't.

Confirmation...in a flash.

I was right. It's them.

My body trembles as the rush of information
overwhelms my excited mind,
and I struggle to comprehend.

Blink blink.

Yes, you tell me.
No way! I think.
I come down, and I pause to think.
Okay, a question.

Nervously I draw out
bare minimum information.
Concerns, pragmatism, love-
they paint a complicated picture.

I watch from the sidelines
and hope for the best.
I successfully read between the lines,
and I must face its music.

I know these things:
keep it quiet,
act ignorant,
keep your practical vision.
I must heed them if I want to socially survive.

Collapsing, wreckage-
that could be her heart.
I know that the letdown must be gentle.
So I stay silent, shrouded in knowledge.

I praise your efforts while
assessing my handiwork.
Intuition, a blessed curse
has struck once again.

What was it this time?
A blessing? A curse?
Both. I wonder if
it will ever serve for good.

Another mystery is solved,
and I am saddled with its answers.
Now I hope on high I can succeed
in keeping all this to myself.
