Beauty in unexpected places.
One weed yet climbs the bannister
Ascends in surest wend,
Clinging to the moving sun
With buds that sway and bend.

Pure petals hold her hope inside;
So carried up the stair,
She blossoms in the moonlight -
Sighs glisten in dawn’s air.
