It's hard to watch someone you love love someone else.
I long to hold your hand the way I used to do...
but your hand holds another's now.
My fragile heart shatters a thousand times
and I pray to die.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger
but my love for you will always remain.

I look for you in a thousand places,
but you are gone from me; unknowing, unaware, uncaring
I look about me, lost for some kind of redemption
that will never come.

Once, you held me close and swore you'd never let go,
but time has moved on and we are different now.

You flew away on wings of golden fire,
a breath, a whisper, a broken promise...

Be happy.
