A revised short poem about loneliness.

Melancholy looms,
sadness somehow
weighs upon my brow-
Silence, so cruel.

Darkness shrouds rooms,
bittersweet memories
roam these vast hallways-
Silence, my tomb.

Her voice bangs and booms,
deafens my ears
scaring my fears-
Silence, no fool.
