Written on a day when I was feeling really good.
Beautiful Day

Oh, what a beautiful summer day,
The sun is shining in my way.
The warmth of the sun floods my soul,
What a nice time to take a stroll.
The heat from the sun warms my face,
As it browns my paleface.
Energy radiates through me as I skip,
Preparing me for this long trip.
A trip back to where I used to be,
May I never go back to the old me.
