life on the streats
A home on the street,
Always seeing defeat.
Although I have a home this is true,
But for now I’m one of you.
A home hundreds of miles away.
Here I’m living just to see another day.
The stories I’ve been told,
The world is so cold.
The many streets I do walk,
Listening to all that will talk.
Stories of suffering and pain,
Feeling the worst of Satan’s reign.
In Jesus name I do pray,
Pleas let us see a better way.
Over the years I no longer show tears.
Now if more would open their eyes and see.
What life is like for thee.
Then once we learn from the streets,
Maybe life won’t end in defeat.
