Okay, so it's not really about a zoo...
Come and take a trip with me to the zoo
There's always business, but never something new.
Just slip on a pair of blue jeans
Shove your hands in the pockets
So as not to cause commotion at the zoo
But if they're not quite loose enough,
Or if your shirt isn't cheap,
Then the animals will sense that you're different
And they can smell fear!

Come and take a trip with me to the zoo
There's always business, but never something new.
The wall of black clothes stands for angst,
And white boys crying pimp
Stand for putting on a show they'll never be...
The chicks in skirts with glitter lips
Think they're immune to babies
And their boys are colorblind, except for blonde
Nervous freaks adjust their glasses
Rednecks knock them on their asses
Everyone's in place at last
Now just stand back, look in, and laugh

See the act
And take a trip with me to the zoo...
