A poem I wrote in high school, when I was infatuated with the basketball star.
I need you,
But I cannot have you.

I want you,
But I cannot love you.

I care for you,
But I cannot make you
Understand-

What I have;
I cannot want,

And what I want;
I cannot possibly have.
