Reality from an internal perspective.
Askew?

There’s omnipotence behind my eyes,
My omnipresence is my point of view.
You see, for me the sun does fall and rise.
All you are is all I make of you.
In my solitude none but I exist.
If not in sight of me there is no you.
A single being formed of earth and light.
All that is, is what I chose to do.
The universe is but my line of sight,
The panorama in my way.
You who co-star in my life,
Shrewd distractions to fill my day.
Is it avarice to believe that all,
That is revolves round me?
Or is the reality I hold fast to,
In fact just what you see?
Put simply nothing’s as it seems,
Just the slant we choose to view.
No there or then, only here and now.
Close your eyes and see there’s only you.
Most won’t see the truth I do,
They’ll never figure out the lie.
But I’ve accepted that I’m my own Deity,
And the creator of my own sky.
