My eyes, as wet as sand
My heart, as warm as ice
In your eyes, I saw the truth
In your heart, I found strength
You are my soul
No howling wolf at the moon
No snake in the grass
You made me see with my heart
You gave me peace of mind
I dreamed of you all my life
And as I awoke to your beauty
My dreams were shattered by
fate's cruel blow
Now in my dreams you still breathe
In my dreams you still breathe
Let me lay on our pillow and dream
