Thoughts of self pity. But doesn't everyone feel used sometimes?
Come walk upon my DoorMat-
It's placed out just for you.
Wipe your dirty feet here-
No concern
It's here please use.
Stomp hard while you are at it-
Cleanse dirt brought in with you.
The edges torn and fraying-
Striving to hold with-in.
Always wearing a warm Hello WELCOME-
printed upon it's face.
But it waits-
always wanting-
for you to come
And walk upon again.
