When you ser her for what she is and has been.
She dropped me
onto a mountain i
Pieced together stone by stone.
and if you listen closely, you can
hear each one whisper something amazing
about her.
but their talk is often misunderstood
as it echoes into the black space between them,
a space where a wiser man
would find truth. a truth
i swept under a torn rug
in the cobwebbed attic of my mind,
longing for the ceiling to break with confession,
Revealing a sky it's always heard of, but
Never seen.
