poem about the side no ones sees...
Waiting

Sometimes I wonder
What you would do
If you knew
These secrets I keep
My tough exterior an act
Deep down I’m waiting
For my fragile heart
To break
Deep down I’m waiting
For you to pick me up

Sometimes it scares me
My hopeless thoughts
As they drag me down
Lost to the world
As know one sees
What goes on as I’m waiting
for it to all stop

I try everything
As I run from these haunting thoughts
I blame you for these scars
This weakness that wasn’t here before
A piece of me gone
A part of me you stole
Leaving me incomplete
faulty
Like a broken toy
With no where to belong
And I’m waiting
For you to pick me up
