If Tomorrow Never Came

If tomorrow never came
Would things still be the same
Could I honestly believe
I showed you the real me

I've tried to be the person
People would relate to and trully know
But talking to you tonight
Made me wonder what I really show

Inside I am insecure
Sometimes it shows Im not always sure
I dont like to feel surprised
When all kinds of problems suddenly rise

Deep down i think I like me
Even things I know you dont see
My thoughts have been more focused though
More focused on whats "meant to be"

I dont like to wonder about things I cant control
I have thoughts and feelings no one could console.
I wanna be all knowing and see whats meant for me
If tomorrow never came am I the "me" I want to be?
