After winning our cheerleading competition
Cheer

The crowd is silent
With expectant smiles,
The curtains part,
The crowd goes wild.

Your muscles tense,
Your stomach turns,
Your mind goes blank,
Your whole body burns.

The music starts,
No warning at all;
You hope you don't trip,
You hope you dont fall!

The stunts go up,
The flyers fly,
The fans all Cheer,
The coaches all cry.

The music ends,
The last cheer's heard,
The routine ends,
Without a word.

Then someone screams,
You jump up and down,
The hugs and the kisses,
The other teams frown.

A flawless job,
A superoir showing!
Your dad stops taping,
Your mom is glowing.

The trophies are awarded,
You all hold hands,
You squeeze your eyes tight,
As hard as you can.

And then the results
South in first place!
Everything is happy,
Like the tears on your face.
