A Poem about giving up on someone you love and have been waiting to love you back.
Maybe if I stopped loving you,
it wouldn't hurt so much.
So I'll close my eyes when you pass me
to keep from falling into yours.
And I'll hold my breath,
avoid your smell,
avoid inhailing you in.
I will take the chance of my lung filling with blood
when I cut them off from you.
I cant depend on you to breath,
to live,
to love.
I'll removed all my memories of you eyes,
smile,
laugh,
kiss,
The light they bring is starting to burn
and the salt from my tears you bring
is stinging my bloodshot eyes.
I'll close them again tonight
and sleep for the first night,
after banning you from my shattered dreams.
