I was reading a fairytale one day and just decided to put it into a colloqiual poem.
She wished for a child
A beautiful baby girl
With a smile as big as her heart
And skin as white as pearl

Oh! And hair as dark as ebony
Lest we forget
And lips redder than any maiden
Any man had ever met

She did forget this heartfelt wish
As she sighed and sat
It was impossible
No baby was born like that

But wait what was this?
She felt the presence of another
A small heartbeat with her own
She was soon to be a mother

She ran to her husband
Who happened to be king
And told him the news
This marvellous thing

Soon after the baby was born
A sweet thing filled with laughter
The Queen smiled as she saw her
But was dead very soon after

The beautiful baby grew
Into a beatiful child
With raven black hair
And temper oh so mild

But to her despair
And amidst much strife
The king did something awful
He took on a wife

Not only was she vain and proud
She did things with magic one can't explain
It frightened the little girl so very much
It caused her actual pain

Well, the king did then
What all kings do
He died honourably
His daughter did not know what to do

Force to don rags
And constantly work
She did not complain
Though it drove her berserk

But Stepmother was plotting
Going slightly insane
For stepdaughter was a beauty
And Stepmother was vain

She paid the woodsman to kill her
But alas he could not then
She ran away and met some dwarves
And lived in their little den

But stepmother she found out
And poisoned an apple red
Tricking her stepdaughter
She watched her drop down dead

But the little men
Who loved her so
Made her a glass coffin
Not wanting to let her go

Now along that way came a prince
Upon a noble steed
He saw the girl in the glass
And at once he did the deed

He kissed her once upon the lips
And from her slumber she woke
'Oh goodness gracious me', she cried
Stepmother made me choke

Now Stepmother deserved this
And she did pay
For all the evil she did
That very same day

She was killed
But it is not known how
Some say a boulder. some say dancing shoes
Others say a plough!

And as for Snow White
As you have guessed it was she
Well it could be she lived happily ever after
Or maybe it was not meant to be

All i know is that the lovely girl
Filled with joy and laughter
Is now finding out what happens
After happily ever after
