A poetic examination of nature in the winter time.
The glistening snow
The deep dark night
My visable breath before me
These all tell me one thing...
The world is cold tonight
A cold place indeed
Trees stripped bare of their leaves
A blanket of cottony white beneath my feet
And the only life being myself
Stars twinkle and shine above me
Never an intermission in this cosmic theatre
The show must, and wiil, always go on
Maybe it is so
That the world is a better place when I'm alone
Alone to enjoy it by myself
Such a wonderful chill
Like smoothe sand paper on my numb cheek
This feeling I'm emersed in
Such a serene warmth is the cold
Let it not end
May it last forever
Or at least
Until something better comes along
If not...
Leave me be
