Something Special

I have something special for that special someone.
It's wrapped up, hidden away, kept in secret.
I want to show it, I want to expose it.
But I have to wait, until the day.
We have know each other for some time now.
Off and on, here and there.
Why do we put ourselves thru this
Why do we ask these questions.
The day has come, The night has fallen.
The time is right, our time is now.
We got together on this night, hoping the feeling is right.
We sat so close, we sat in the dark.
Wanting and hoping, our feelings would rise.
We sat together staring at one another.
We kissed for a moment, then did it again.
You asked if I had something, i told u i did.
But i told u, u would have to wait, wait for the time.
Time had passed, hours on hours.
We exposed what we wanted, the love for each other.
The hour has come, the time is now.
I asked if u wanted what i had for you.
You said u wanted it, here and now.
I went to the spot where my surprise was hidden.
You followed me to it, but i tried to keep you from seeing it.
You pulled me aside, kissing on my neck.
I pulled you closer to me, kissing u back.
You asked if this was your gift, i had for you.
I said with a sigh, that it was from me to you.
That something special was my love for you.
Through and through.
