A suicide poem.
Watching the clock on the wall,
up so high standing so tall,
I knew today was my last,
take my own life to escape my past,
hold my gun,
under a falling sun,
seconds tick,
the wait is making me sick,
minutes go,
oh, so slow,,
as if the world,
stopped where it twirled,
I sit there waiting,
myself im hating,
watch myself in the mirror,
as the time ticks nearer,
Clock hits two,
now its just me and you,
Clock hits three,
Oh god I wanna be free,
Clock hits four,
I see no light under my door,
Clock hits five,
I just don’t wanna survive,
Clock hits six,
nothing I can fix,
Clock hits at seven,
am I on my way to heaven,
I pull the trigger,
Some how life is bigger,
escaped my body escaped my hell,
escaped my prison escaped my cell,
escaped my pain escaped my strife.
