Simpler Things

There's a joy in life,
versed in simpler things.
A feeling you get
that only love brings.

Like a newborn foal
on an early morn.
In our heart and soul,
we will be reborn.

We're innocent lambs,
like babes in the wood.
All seeking the land
of plenty and good.

So with warmth of heart,
we bask in his sight.
The Savior of man
will show us the light.

We'll get there someday
as the angels sing.
He'll show us the way,
versed in simpler things.
