This is about the unfairness of having to work to heal from childhood experiences
UNFAIR

It seems unfair that we,
Who were robbed of our childhood,
Who've spent our lives running
And hiding from our pasts,
Now find ourselves unable
To move on into tomorrow
Until we gather the courage
To revisit yesterday at last.
Tell it -- the abuse
Live it -- the flashbacks
Write it -- the story
Feel it -- the pain
Scream it -- the anger
Mourn it -- the loss

Cry it
Sing it
Play it
Act it
Shout it

OUT!
