A poem about coming of age and getting to new places.
The places we used to go are turning into dust,
the people that we used to know are dissapearing in front of us.
We sang our hearts out under the stars,
and we picked up the glass or stained window shards.
As our time to go draws near,
the bartender yells "finish your beer!".
We feel the sting of the memories turned liquor,
and the time moves faster...ever quicker.
I guess we could raise our hands, raise our voices,
But I have the feeling we prefer our secound choice.
Lets listen to the ticking clock, drawing away the time,
Lets listen to this soft-voiced ryme.
Stay close to me for one more night,
stay close, just one more time.
