Why soldiers go to war is not why they're sent.
Soldier

He went to fight their war
To trumpet their cause
To play with their children
To love their daughters
He was lied to

He was sent to start a war
To increase approval ratings
To kill, the enemy and the innocent
To contest his nation's strength
He was sent to die for politics
