Final Installment of my first Poetry Series.
Your smile has doused the flames.
Within you, I sense the same.
Will you take my hand?
Lead me across the sea.

So tall and fair you stride
I long to be at your side.
Something has changed within me.
I have been given another chance.

Your laugh is so charming,
That what I felt was alarming.
I submit to your spell,
Drowning in a sea of love.

Freed from my cage of fire,
You wash over me in desire.
Our intimate silence,
And time together is cherised

Your lithe figure serves as my guide.
Am I strong enough to cross the divide?
A crown of lilies adorns your hair.
Eyes blue, and cool as water.

River Spirit, of this stream,
Could we be the perfect team?
Today I wage my love on you,
And the wheel weaves the path,
I pray you will stay with me.
Hoping, it is meant to be.
