A prayer about a Christian's struggles and joys in everyday life.
Away from here I will flee
From fear, hate, and misery
And kneel at the throne of Thee
My God of wondrous deeds.

I reveal the struggles of my life
How it often seems to just be strife
How I grow weary of this fight
Against the evil me.

How I need Thy aid, O Lord
At times I forget Who I'm living for
I seem to fail more and more
And so I pray for strength.

But I'm thankful for the joyful things
That Your creation often brings
Of times I can loudly sing,
" Lord, You're so good to me!"

So thank You for the love You show
And the grace You bestow
Help me in Your ways to grow
Until my life shall cease.
