A poem about rain
The sky starts to dim
As the day darkens
Black clouds begin to form,
The rain is pouring down
Forming puddles upon the ground.

The only sounds are of
Cars splashing through the streets
As rain pelts down on the roof
As if rocks are falling from above.

The power goes out and all turns dark
No more sounds of cars splashing in the Streets just of the rain hitting the roof,
And singing me to sleep.

Soon it will be morning
Everything still wet from the night
The sun will be shining
Through my window, as the day awakens
